Purpose Over Perfection. You don't have to be perfect. I think we have been sold this lie that we have to pursue perfectionism in order to be loved by God, by other people, by our loved ones, by our parents, by our family, by society…that we had to live this perfect life in order for us to be accepted. Remember that every person you see when you look around and they look like they have it all together, I promise you they don't. They're figuring it out just like you are. Today I heard someone say "Purpose over Perfection" and man is that my theme for today. If you are feeling stressed out, overwhelmed or you're having anxiety about what you're doing today, focus on the purpose…focus on your intention for today. Then you won't be so hard on yourself. You wont expect yourself to be perfect because you'll be too busy working on your purpose. And what a relief that will be knowing that you are perfect being imperfect.
