“Quiet. Listen obediently, Israel. This very day you have become the people of God, your God. Listen to the Voice of God, your God.” (Deuteronomy 27:9-10, The Message)

Today is your day. This very day we can listen and obey God’s Word telling us who we are and what that means. We can begin right now to accept that we are children of God and to act accordingly.

Be quiet. Just hush the senses and the babble of self—self-justification, fear, analysis, judgment, limitation, shame, blame, guilt—and for a moment just listen with grateful joy. Pause long enough to hear the voice of divine Love telling you that you belong to Love, to Truth, to infinite Life.

Take this message in. You are a child of divinity. You are made in God’s likeness. You belong to Him and are preserved and protected by His Almighty power and His perpetual, endless, ageless governing goodness.

We are God’s people—His beloved people. We don’t belong to material circumstances, time, or physicality. We are maintained and sustained by God. We are the very expression of His purpose, and we are made to follow Him naturally, to radiate His glorious light as the very essence of our being.

Be quiet. Listen for and receive your benediction from God today. It’s time. It’s your time to shine!
