The film Aladdin tells of a young man who lives alone because his parents have died and he only lives with his pet, a monkey named Abu. Aladdin and his monkeys are known as good-natured young thieves or street rats in the city of Agrabah. One day, Aladdin and his monkey meet an unidentified girl. The girl turned out to be a princess from the Kingdom of Agrabah named Princess Jasmine. Aladdin and Jasmine later became friends.
