Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. The day is gently drawing to a close. The conversations are becoming quieter, the pace is slowing and the night is beginning to settle around us. Whatever today has brought, there is deep comfort in knowing that while we prepare to rest, our Heavenly Father never grows weary, never looks away and never stops watching over His children. Tonight, you can rest in His faithful care. Psalm 91:1–2 (NIV) “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” These words remind us that our security is found not in our circumstances but in the presence of God. His shelter is stronger than our fears, His faithfulness is greater than our uncertainties and His love remains constant through every hour of the night. So let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because we are resting under the shadow of the Almighty, whose care never fails and whose promises never change. Father, thank You for Your protection throughout this day. Thank You for every unseen mercy, every answered prayer and every reminder that Your faithful hand has been upon our lives. Lord Jesus, watch over every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel alone, peace to anxious minds and restful sleep to every weary heart. Plans change, doors close unexpectedly and life does not always unfold in the way we imagined. If today you are wondering whether there is still hope beyond your present circumstances, take heart. The pace has quickened, demands have increased and the weight of responsibility can begin to feel overwhelming. Perhaps you are trying to stay strong while quietly feeling exhausted inside. If that is where you are today, God’s Word brings a gentle reminder that His grace has not run out, and His strength has not diminished.  2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV) “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” These words remind us that God does not wait until we are strong before He draws near. He meets us in our weakness with grace that is sufficient for today. We do not have to pretend that we have everything together. So let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because the strength of Jesus Christ is greater than our weakness, and His grace will faithfully sustain us through every moment of this day. Father, thank You that Your grace is never exhausted. Thank You that You understand our weariness, You know every hidden struggle and You continue to strengthen those who place their trust in You. Brisbane • Dunedin • Singapore • Charlotte • Medellín COURAGE • PRESENCE • CONFIDENCE Good morning, and welcome to DailyPrayer.uk. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. By now, many of us are fully engaged in the rhythm of the day. Meetings have begun, families need our attention, decisions are waiting to be made and unexpected situations may already have appeared. It is often at this point that our confidence is tested. Yet God does not ask us to face today in our own strength. He promises to walk with us wherever this day may lead. Joshua 1:9 (NIV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” What a powerful promise for every believer. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the confidence that God is present even when life feels uncertain. As we continue through today, let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ walks beside us, His promises remain unshaken and His presence never leaves those who trust in Him. Father, thank You that You never send us into today alone. Thank You that Your wisdom goes before us, Your strength sustains us and Your faithful love surrounds us wherever we go. Lord Jesus, encourage every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, wisdom to those making difficult decisions, peace to troubled hearts and fresh courage to everyone facing challenges that seem greater than their own ability. Help us to stand firm, knowing that You remain with us in every circumstance. Holy Spirit, fill us with quiet confidence, guide our conversations and help us reflect the kindness, grace and steadfast hope of Christ throughout this day. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. Before the demands of this new day begin to gather around us, there is a quiet place where every heart can find strength. Long before we face today’s conversations, decisions or responsibilities, God is already present, inviting us to rest in His faithful care. If you have awakened carrying concerns or uncertainty, allow these next few moments to remind you that you never begin the day alone.  Psalm 46:1 (NIV) “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” What reassuring words to carry into a new morning. Our confidence is not built upon perfect circumstances but upon the unchanging character of God. He remains our refuge when life feels uncertain, our strength when we feel weary and our constant help in every season. So today, let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ is our refuge, our hope and our ever-present source of strength. Father, thank You for watching over us through the night and for bringing us safely into this new day. Thank You that Your presence goes before us, Your wisdom guides us and Your mercy meets us afresh every morning. Lord Jesus, strengthen every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, courage to those facing difficult conversations, peace to anxious hearts and hope to everyone wondering what this day may bring.
