Joseph had a tough decision to make when he got the news that Mary was pregnant. He planned to divorce her in secret to try and not disgrace her publicly, which is an honorable thing to do. Most people today would have posted all kinds of things on social media about how terrible she was and more than likely thrown in some degrading names for good measure. But Joseph was a good man, a righteous man. Thankfully, he was visited in a dream by an angel who told him that he was to stay with her and help raise the child of God!
