Sabbapāpassa akaraṇaṃ,

kusalassa upasampadā,

sacittapariyodapanaṃ --

etaṃ buddhāna sāsanaṃ.

Listen

To avoid all evil,

to cultivate good,

and to purify one's mind --

this is the teaching of the Buddhas.
