Sukarāni asādhūni,

attano ahitāni ca.

Yaṃ ve hitañca sādhuñca,

taṃ ve paramadukkaraṃ.

Easy to do are things

that are bad and harmful to oneself.

But exceedingly difficult to do

are things that are good and beneficial.
