So karohi dīpamattano!

Khippaṃ vāyama paṇḍito bhava!

Niddhantamalo anaṅgaṇo,

na punaṃ jātijaraṃ upehisi.

Make an island unto yourself!

Strive hard and become wise!

Rid of impurities and cleansed of stain,

you shall not come again to birth and decay.
