Endearing story with a positive message

In my humble opinion, this is the perfect children's book. I saw the author at a book reading/signing event and watched the children's overwhelming response to the animal character in this book, the story, and the book's vibrant illustrations. "Daisy" is an endearing story about a farm dog that shares, from its perspective, a tale about safety and protection, and I can't think of a young child who wouldn't enjoy it. If only all children's books reinforced such a positive message using characters and a storyline to which children can so easily relate!

Wonderful story, child pleasing and interesting

Daisy the protector dog is a good clean story about her love of where she lives and about the humans she loves and protects. All children enjoy stories about animals and this story will make the children want to have a pet. Daisy is ready and willing to get out and search anything that sounds strange or looks different. A dog like her would be a wonderful pet and protector!! I hope we will be able to see a lot more stories about Daisy.

Daisy the Protector Dog is a heartwarming story! Children love the beautiful illustrations. The story is based on a real-live dog and is told from the dog's point of view. This is an uplifting story and leaves the reader and children with a feeling of safety and protection. This book also reminds us that friendship can be found when least expected. This book is a joy to read! And, as a bonus, a down loadable e-live audio book is included with the beautifully illustrated 24 page paperback book!

friendship and responsibility

Daisy the Protector Dog charmingly follows Daisy on her rounds to protect the farm and Buddy, her boy. Daisy uses her skills to find and rescue a distressed dog, Peanut, by devising a way to lead Buddy to Peanut. The illustrations warmly complement this story of friendship and responsibility.

I was fortunate to get a copy of this book from a friend of a friend. It was worth the effort - I loved it!

This little book has it all: animals, adventure, excitement, and a happy ending! Children will be enthralled.
