Dáithí Ó Sé is one of Ireland`s much loved TV personalities , from his early beginnings of the weather man on TG4 to the host with the most on the Rose Of Tralee, and not forgetting The Today Show on RTE  with Maura Derrane, he has certainly became a household favourite.

No stranger to Mario`s sketches we quickly found out that Dáithí didn't offend easily and said he would be worried when Mario stopped doing impressions of him!

Dáithí tells Mario about his beginnings as a teacher, a butcher and a ferry driver, he also teaches Mario some saucy words in Irish! Schkelp!

For his comedy choice today Dáithí picked a classic from Mario`s sketches! We were in stitches when this one made a appearance again!

Dáithí went on to talk about how he feels that this made people feel they could really understand Irish. He thinks that schools need to approach the teaching of Irish completely  differently in order for the Irish language to be kept and to be part of the everyday language in Ireland.

When you`re in school, it has to just come back to speaking, there`s no point in having a language that`s written on paper, poetry and prose. it`s beautiful but its no good in the real world.
