A drug expert thinks New Zealanders aren't treating meth seriously enough.
There were more than four-thousand 700 court proceedings for amphetamine offences in the 2016 / 2017 year.
This suggests a rise in use when compared to the two-thousand 600 arrests in 2012 / 2013.
Methcon managing director Dale Kirk says P is incredibly addictive and dangerous.
"Many people in New Zealand I think, tend to put all gloves into the same basket, they tend to think it's some sort of harmless phase that people go through and they'll come out the other end okay, but with this it is just so different and you just can't treat it as such" Kirk told Larry Williams.
