There was absolutely nothing good about the first Doctor Who movie…but this one is definitely a step up!

A couple of good special effects (such as a pretty amazing Dalek spaceship) and some plot improvements are definitely a help…but then there’s the weird disappearance of Barbara and Ian and juggling too many plot lines for a movie.
