It was the second huge American pop festival ( after Monterey Pop.) We meet The Doors, The Standells, The Electric Prunes, etc. and we meet our first hippies. There weren’t many in Memphis at the time. </div>

Here’s a summary of our Box Tops appearance at the Dallas -Ft. Worth Pop Festival in September of 1967. It was the second huge American pop festival ( after Monterey Pop.) We meet The Doors, The Standells, The Electric Prunes, etc. and we meet our first hippies. There weren’t many in Memphis at the time.
