Damian Todd joins us in this episode to talk about his experience at Art From The Streets and his mindset around creating art. Damian talks about how Art From The Streets has opened up his mind, what his emotions are before an Art From The Streets show, how he felt after selling his first painting, why he paints himself as the subject in some of his work, what he has learned from the other artists within Art From The Streets, and more. 

 Art From The Streets is a nonprofit based in Austin, Texas. The mission of Art From the Streets is to provide a safe and encouraging environment in which the positive spirit and creativity for those experiencing homelessness are nurtured through their own artistic expression. Because focusing on housing alone does not achieve other equally important goals that are relevant and motivating to improving and sustaining a quality of life. 

Original artwork is for sale in art shows throughout Austin, Texas. At these shows in the community the artist receives 95% of sales. Artists receive 60% of the final price of online artwork and merchandise sales.
