Damien Kennedy had an extraordinary childhood living in a remote community he did it tough and as a young boy experienced trauma that caused him pain and lead to an early life travelling down the wrong path. Somehow he was able to regain his life pulling it together piece by piece getting educated and getting clean. Now he is a role model for community working in one of the toughest rehab facilities around in St Kilda Melbourne. Here he shares his incredible story with Abie Wright.
