**Trigger Warning for this episode**
You may remember Ms.Paula from an earlier episode we did with Andrew's sister Lexi, but this time we're talking about him and his grief for his mother. As a child, Andrew watched on as his mom struggled with substance abuse as a result of the grief she'd felt due to the heaviness of life and her own grief as well. He describes seeing his mom in that state as heartbreaking and because of it, he sought therapy... And then, fast forward to a few years later when Ms. Paula passed, he would seek it again, citing that it's the reason he can so openly talk about it today. Our conversation was so much from the heart and we discusses so many things under the sun like therapy, the importance of community, our siblings being our saving grace, what it *could* mean when a grieving person says they don't want to be here and so much more. I heavily encourage listening to this profound episode of the show because Andrew gives some phenomenal advice and is a true testimony to what it's like to lose someone you love more than life.
