Tee Goodwin was 23 years old when she lost her mother and states that she has spent a lot of her life grieving... At the age of eight, Tee became her mother's caretaker following an unfortunate event on the job that would leave her mother with permanent injuries; She remained her mothers primary caretaker until the day she passed. In this extremely raw episode, Tee shares with us what it was like to spend most of her life being selfless and not only caring for her mom, but for other people as well. "I used to look in the mirror and I couldn't just see myself... I saw so many other people top", she so bold states in this episode, alluding to the fact that she wasn't able to care for just herself until her mother passed on. In an effort to understand grief better, Ms.Goodwin has started the Facebook group, White Rose Society for women who have lost their mothers and is currently hosting panels about grief through a platform called Sistahs Bonding Through Grief.
