Dan Brooks, a resident of Alfred, Maine, spent his formative years fishing off the coast of Maine with his grandfather and father. Dan subsequently leveraged his passion for auto body repair, pursuing further education and ultimately working in the field for 20 years. Following his father's decision to scale back and retire from lobstering, Dan opted to return to his roots, becoming a full-time commercial lobsterman.
