Dan Daly taught English at Omaha Central from 1962-1999 and served as Department Chair from 1976-99. Dan discussed his approach to English teaching, his success in the AP program, and other thoughts about changes at CHS during his tenure.

Dan was a 1989 Alice Buffett Award winner and was Central's Teacher of the Year for 1972. He was inducted into the ⁠Central Hall of Fame in 2011.⁠
