Dan Puumala is an ordained and licensed minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He holds an M.Div from Bethel Theological Seminary and a BA from Crown College. Since 1993 Dan has served in multiple roles at Outpost Ministries, currently as Interim President and Senior Pastor proclaiming “Jesus Christ has life-changing power” to the sexually and relationally broken and sharing that message with churches, schools, and other ministry groups throughout Minnesota and beyond. Dan leads a support and discipleship group for older men at Outpost called CalebSpirit. He does Christian pastoral counseling and biblical mentoring with individuals and married couples impacted by sexual brokenness issues. He helps with issues such as sex addiction and same-sex attraction and overcoming shame and guilt through the power of the cross. He has a special calling to minister to those who also struggle with mental health issues. He has been featured in local and international news media. Dan is married and lives in Minneapolis.
