On Mother's Day, enjoy a very special episode featuring memories of my paternal grandmother shared by none other than my father, Bob McArdle! My dad makes his second appearance on the show (the first being June 2024's Father's Day Surprise episode). You'll hear what it was like growing up and living just above the poverty line in the mid-to-late 1950s.

"Folk with a Rock 'n' Roll Soul" — that is one way to describe Austin-based singer-songwriter Dan Guevara's sound! You might also say Dan's music reminds us that we don't always have to rush through our days; we can be a guiding light to someone in a dark place; and there can be comfort and solace in saying goodbye.
