Dancecast will return again in November 2010, keep checking the Official Dancecast Facebook page for more info.
As the regular show is on a short hiatus, i am looking back at some of the best Dancecast moments in mix form… yeah its a bit of a cop-out, but i dont want to leave the airwaves empty for long 😉
Part 2 is actually something i made for Dancecast 24 in 2009, but the mix never made it to the show – it wasn’t the sound i wanted at the time. The mix wasn’t totally finished, but enjoy the nice gentle Progressive House, with a Euphoric edge.
01. Paul and Fritz Kalkbrenner – Sky and Sand

Part 1 comes from the last show in 2008 (Dancecast No.15), this was a short “Best of 2008” mix – plenty of Progressive, Trance and Bleep House sounds here… hope you enjoy it.
01. MGMT – Kids (Soulwax Remix)
This may seem like an unusually short show – for the next few weeks, Dancecast will be a series of ‘bite-sized’ shows so that we can bring you a more frequent selection of prominent deep house and techno. Of course, a shorter show will also be ideal for people who are commuting to work, or have a don’t have time to listen for 1 hour…

“This is possibly the most enjoyable shows i have done for ages, i source new music every day, and it takes a couple of weeks to filter through and put together some of the music that i want to play out… but there is so much great stuff out there right now in the deep & tech house arena, that a one hour show doesn’t do it justice.. anyway i hope you enjoy the show, let me know what you think…” – Mike.

Hottest New Tune
Im quite suprised this tune hasn’t seen an official re-release for 14 years, it looks like it could be quite big and is already hitting dancefloors around the world. Im not usually a big fan of re-releases of classic tunes, unless they are done well. Luckily this one is. Arguably it sounds similar to his many other releases, but you can’t go wrong with a successful producer like Gui Boratto.
For No Reason…
Released in 1996, it still resonates for a lot of people – a groundbreaking track that took high-end acid bleeps onto mainstream dancefloors.
The Prominent Mix
