Isanusi García Rodríguez’s artwork reflects a timeline: different periods of recovery since 2012, when he suffered a stroke. Rodríguez is former Miami City Ballet principal dancer. The stroke left the right side of his body paralyzed. He was unable to dance professionally, as well as to communicate, and he had amnesia for months. But during recovery he pushed himself to develop another long-time passion — painting. His paintings are sprinkled with bright colors that reflect his Cuban heritage,
