Today we welcome guitarist, videographer, and doctoral student in ethnomusicology at Columbia University, Dane Schultz. In recent years Dane has taken to filming some of the top timba bands in Cuba and sharing this amazing footage through Instagram and YouTube. In today's episode we learn how Dane got started, who he's worked with, and how he plans to use his experience with these Cuban musicians in his doctoral studies.
