Daniel 5 | There's 30 years between the stories in chapter 4 and chapter 5 in the book of Daniel. Babylon now has a new king, Belshazzar has been the king for a decade or so, but times are now uncertain. The one thing the king has to get right is which of his gods to promote and how to best motivate them to help with their upcoming battle against Persia. Turns out, he chooses unwisely.
