* He lived a life of indulgence.

* Notice the progression:

* 1) Indulgence - he was all about feeding his appetite, not controlling it.

* He had no discipline in his life.

* 2) Indifference - he could care less about anything that didn’t involve him and his selfish desires.

* He was blinded to everyone and everything around him.

* 3) Irreverence - he slapped God in the face by his behavior.

* This was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

* This stage makes God your enemy.

* If you don’t want God as your enemy then you start in the area of indulgence.

* What are you allowing yourself to say “yes” to that you know you should say “no” to?
