We visit with Daniel Boone historian Sim DeLapp about the time Boone spent in our region of North Carolina. We discuss how the Boone family came to north Carolina and the places the wound up. Sim relays to us his understanding of Boone's personality and the differences between Boone and Crockett. We talk about the timeline of Boone's life and how he began to fashion a life of exploring and leading expeditions westward.
