Daniel Lipinski, Former Representative, PhD in Political Science - Reforming Congress
Daniel Lipinski is an American politician and political scientist. He served eight terms as the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 3rd congressional district between 2005-2021. Lipinski is a socially conservative democrat, however he was a part of the Blue Dog Coalition, The Problem Solvers Caucus, and the Climate Solutions Caucus as well as many others. In addition to Caucus Memberships, he also served on two House Committees: Transportation & Infrastructure as well as the Science, Space & Technology Committee.
Lipinski has appeared in podcasts, spoken publicly and published writing since his time in Congress and currently plans to continue writing about Congress.
