On Good Friday, we reflected on the power of choosing the battles God has called us to—while letting go of the ones that were never ours to fight. Jesus, in full obedience to the Father, stepped into mankind’s wickedness—enduring bitterness and jealousy to the point of death—not because He had to, but because He chose to, for our sake. In doing so, He fulfilled the will of God and broke the cycle of striving. Like Melchizedek of old, Jesus offers us bread and wine, peace and eternal victory for all who believe.
