Sporting KC fan favorite Daniel Salloi sat down with us ahead of an epic MLS Wooden Spoon battle against the Colorado Rapids. Salloi, who turns 27 this summer, has seen many highs and lows in his career already. So in spite of the early season struggles for SKC, he's keeping a level head and a strong mindset.

He weighs in on Vermes' and the "must win" comment, as well as the Soccer Capital of America dilemma and the budding rivalry with St. Louis. Daniel said he's "embarrassed" when he doesn't see any KC highlights on the weekly MLS Wrap-Up. He told us the time to start winning is now. "The fans deserve it," he said.
