Hello, Im Craig and welcome to another episode of Football Kit Memories - the football podcast that gets under the shirt
In today’s episode I'm joined by Chief Football Writer at The i Paper, Daniel Storey.
In our chat we cover Daniel's unusual route into football writing, where he sees the role of newspaper based football journalism and we cover the new book he’s written with the FA on the history of the England National Football Team.
Later and as always I asked Daniel - himself an avid football shirt collector - to pick out three of his favourites and tell me a little bit about what they mean to him. There’s a third place Premier League Nottingham Forest away shirt. THE 1980s NASL shirt that first inspired Daniel’s to start collecting and we finished in Italy with a Fabio Cappello Scudetto winning Milan shirt from 92-93.
Remember, you can listen to this and other episodes of Football Kit Memories on all major audio platforms including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
