On Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, the U.S. Transhumanist Party invites its 2024 Vice-Presidential Candidate, Daniel Twedt (amateur radio call sign KK6VDR), to discuss the history of amateur radio, current developments in this field, applications of amateur radio toward supporting our civilization in emergencies and in citizen-science efforts, relevance of amateur radio to transhumanism, and legislation such as the Amateur Radio Emergency Preparedness Act (H.R. 4006).
Daniel Twedt is the USTP’s Director of Community and Citizen Science and 2024 U.S. Vice-Presidential Candidate. He previously ran for City Council in Thousand Oaks, California, in 2018, 2020, and 2022. During his campaigns he earned thousands of votes and spread awareness of the U.S. Transhumanist Party in local newspapers.
