Danielle Swedberg, a member of the Coulee Region Child Abuse Prevention Task Force (CAPTF), in studio helping promote a couple of things they’re doing in the next couple of weeks.

April is Child Abuse Prevention month and CAPTF, which has been around since 1998, is doing a couple of things at Myrick Park for the community.

At 4 p.m. there Friday, the public is welcome to join CAPTF to plant Pinwheels of Prevention. CAPTF will also be setting up a banner there representing Child Abuse Prevention month.

Then, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. April 19, also at Myrick Park, they will be hosting a Family Fun Night, with food, music and games for the kids, plus the La Crosse Police are bringing at least one of their dogs.
