SERMON THESIS- In Daniel 7 the prophet's first vision focused upon the Roman Little Horn that shall arise out of the fourth Empire of Prophecy. In Daniel 8 the prophet's second vision now turns the spotlight upon the Syrian Little Horn that was to arise out of the third Empire of Prophecy. The key is to show us how God will move Gentile world power from the Eastern theater, to the Western theater of Europe. In doing so the Holy Spirit provides a literal-historical preview of the coming Antichrist via the person of Antiochus.
