Danise Sugita is a nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in community engagement, DEIstrategy, and workforce development. She has led inclusive recruitment efforts, developed statewide toolkits, and built equity-centered partnerships. As a formerRecruitment & Outreach Director for BAYAC AmeriCorps, she placed over 100 members annually in service roles across the Bay Area. A UC Berkeley graduate,Danise is a passionate advocate for systems change, coalition-building, and uplifting underrepresented voices through storytelling and policy reform.
