Ever noticed how everyone in Denmark mostly seems to wear black, white and grey?

Anna Sircova certainly did. The photographer and cultural studies professor teamed up with costume designer Lauréline Démonet to create an art installation, Invielsen (Initiation), which explores the way Danish fashion looks to outsiders and new immigrants to Denmark. They join Lena Rutkowski for a chat about initiation into the Danish ‘tribe’ and whether it’s possible to dress yourself into Danishness.
