Nurses are set to vote on the latest DHB pay offer.
While the offer has no new money, it has been reshuffled so the top pay tier is brought forward.
It would also see extra staff hired sooner than the previous offer.
The Union has suggested the nurses take it, however, registered nurse Danni Wilkinson told Mike Hosking it is still not enough.
"Over the last ten years, we have fallen behind the growth that has been enjoyed by the minimum wage, the median wage and even the high earner so 1515 per cent would be catch up."
