Born in Miami and a graduate of the University of Florida, Captain Alvarez earned his commission in 1997. Following his time in the Army, Danny went to law school and as a lawyer became the legal representative to the Tampa Police union. Since then, he has gotten into politics and now serves in the State of Florida House of Representatives.
