This podcast episode of the Executive Broadcasting Channel, features Award-winning producer/director/executive-producer Danny McGuire of Spirit Productions.  Danny has been providing thoughtful and quality-driven program-making services–producing, writing, directing, editing and executive producing–to many clients and projects through Spirit Productions and other media organizations since 1971.  He is credited with more than 200 studio and location-based television programs, from documentaries to dramas, concerts, and historical, scientific and lifestyle-geared information series; and has received nearly two dozen industry honors for programs and series of his own expression, as well as another dozen awards for projects to which he has served as project director or executive producer.

His work–varied in genre, content, style and scope–includes documentaries and informational ‘magazine’ series, dramatic and performing arts specials, cooking shows, public affairs, and historical and scientific programming for cable TV and Public Television as well as video presentations for non-profits and corporate/commercial/Web applications.  The breadth of experience gained from such diversity at so many levels of the industry has provided Danny with keen sensibilities about program content and execution. 

He has worked with Jean-Michel Cousteau, on a six-hour PBS special. 

He has won an Emmy as well as other awards.
