Danny Weiss is an experienced non-profit director, turned digital media & marketing specialist for WTOP News. He's spent his younger years working in the local Jewish community for synagogues and camps, running large events, running operations and cultivating relationships. After grad school and over the past eight years he's been focused on helping companies grow through smart, sound marketing strategies. Through volunteering, he's been able to keep one foot in the local non-profit community.

Danny's married to a wonderful wife, Shira and they have two awesome kids - Ellie (13) and Jonah (10). They live in Brookeville, MD. Danny and Shira recently celebrated Ellie's Bat Mitzvah, and while it was not as originally planned, was still able to host an amazing (yet alternative) party with close friends and family.
