at times, it can be so tempting to chase title & recognition or to split hairs over differences, but what if what we really want is to know & be known? 

even with a few years between us, my good friend/mentor dapo & i have found a lot in common these past several months...mostly, a desire to step fully into the present tense, to take up responsibility in our midst & most importantly, to do so by coming together heart to heart & shoulder to shoulder. i look up to dapo like i do few people. this snippet of conversation to the hours & hours we've had will probably give you a good idea why.
