In Lam. 3, we examine how we can, in the midst of pain and suffering, in the midst of unremitting sorrow that can so easily give way to despair or denial, how lament actually invites us to dare to hope by calling to mind the truth of who God is - his goodness, faithfulness, and sufficiency - as well as his ultimate purpose for our suffering.
