To be ready is to be “in a suitable state for an activity, action, or situation; to be fully prepared.”  As Christians, our mission is to partner with Jesus and be ready to carry out His mission in the world.  He said, He came to “seek and save the lost.”

While I’m convinced the greater part of being ready is wrapped up in our personal relationship with Christ, there are still some things we can do to prepare and be ready for that mission.

In every aspect of our modern day living access to a power source is essential.

As Christians today, to carry out God's mission in the world we need a strength and power that goes beyond the capacity of human nature.  We need God’s supernatural power.  No amount of effort on our part will ever be enough. God has promised that power through His Holy Spirit.

Easter changes everything!  Easter is  the authentication of God’s remedy to humanity’s oldest dilemma.  If Easter is anything, it is at least the evidence that God believes in second chances, and offers us a fresh start if we will put our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Easter is God’s Jubilee.
