Blackploid is the alias of German producer/DJ @martin-matiske - In 1997, at the age of 10, Martin began mixing records and recording daily new mix tapes. Soon after, he met DJ Hell, who was astonished from the beginning with Martin's interest in electronic music, records and mix tapes and invited him to interviews as well as DJ gigs, allowed Martin to secure his first DJ set in 1999. Shortly thereafter, at the turn of the millennium, Martin began producing music. Since then he has released music on Deejay Gigolo Records, Frustrated Funk, Stilleben, Vivod, Moustache Records, CPU, and more. His exclusive vinyl mix for Dark Science Electro balances a love of the old and an appreciation of the new.
