A new Dark Souls 3 exploit has emerged and they took the From Software servers down because of the problem. This Dark Souls 3 RCE exploit is so serious community members were encouraging others to only play offline.
The larger concern is that this would also turn into an Elden Ring exploit as well. With the Elden Ring release date right around the corner, it is understandably concerning. A recent YouTube video entitled "Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3 Can Be Used To Hack Your Computer" drew a lot of attention to this. FromSoftware games have online and PVP options and this is where hacks like this happen.
Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
