Good raunchy erotica

As erotica novels go, I can't find a lot of fault with Lloyd's Darker than Love. It's definitely NOT a romance, so for those of you who like your sex tied up with a sweet bow, this is not the best of choices. However, for those of us who like to delve into the edgier side of eroticism in our fiction, this book comes up to scratch very nicely. The character development could be better. But when I find erotica that actually has any, I will assume I've died and gone to heaven. I also have to mention the narrator - Ms. Lockhart has the perfect voice for this type of material. She doesn't overplay it, or groan. She's excellent.

Smooth as silk

Not for conventional sensibilities, but for those who like a walk on the wilder side in their erotic fiction, this is well-crafted. I'll look for more from this author. Owing a great deal to the silken delivery of the reader, this heroine is credible in her naivete, and even more interesting as she begins to discover some darker truths about her erotic nature. Can't say enough about the reader- her delivery is one of the best I've ever heard.

Oh come on

if you like flowers and butterflies in your erotica then this is not the book for you, however if you have preference for "darker" side of erotica (hence the name) then this is a great book. I look forward to more from this author.

Definitely erotic.

Being that this an erotic novel I was not expecting undying love and romantic tender lovemaking. It was raunchy, dirty and full of sex. I like this author and her narrators are perfect. I will keep my eyes open for more of her work.
