DarkWilderness

Far in the Canadian North lies a valley that is shrouded in Mystery and Death. This valley, known as The Nahanni Valley or the Valley of the headless men, has a dark past of missing people, and bizarre deaths. What this First Nations hunter encountered in the area, could help explain this mystery, or it can just lead to more questions. What did Wukwoh encounter? Was it the Waheela? Was it an evil spirit in the shape of a wolf? Was it a skin walker? If you have had an encounter, please email me [email protected] Intro music "Ominous Path" provided by @zero-fi#unexplained #encounters #terrifyingtales #cryptids #waheela#skinwalker

In 1994 a 20-year veteran logger named Tim was working solo overtime in his cutting rig when it got stuck in a slough. Forced to make a decision, he decided to walk the 7 miles back to his truck. Along the way he encountered a 10-Foot-tall Sasquatch!Terrified of the creature before him, Tim ran back to his cutting rig while hearing 2 more of Sasquatch on both sides of the cut. Once back at his rig, Tim was forced to hide on the floor as his rig was periodically attacked by 3 Sasquatch.Luckily for Tim, his rig had a CB radio, and he was able to call dispatch to send help. The next hour and half while he waited for rescue was the longest of his life. To make matters worse for Tim, his would-be rescuer encountered a roadblock of downed trees across the road that were not there when Tim had made the run back to his rig, a half mile from his location.Coming clean to his friend, his friend proceeded on foot armed with a shotgun to help Tim. Together the two men made their way back to safety. Tim found out his friend had encountered a Sasquatch not from there a few years earlier and when his friend told his supervisor he was told to keep silent or be fired.Tim ended up leaving his career as a logger shortly thereafter. If you have an encounter that you would like to share, plese email me at [email protected] #Sasquatch #bigfoot #cryptids #encounter #unexplained #storytime

Sometime the most dangerous predators a hunter can come across in the woods is another person. While hunting in 2008 on private land three military members ENCOUNTERED a couple of men who gave them an off vibe. That night those men returned ARMED and the hunters soon found them selves facing a potentially DANGEROUS situation. This is a personal story of mine and to this day remains to be one of the most DISTURBING encounters I have ever had while camping or hunting. If you have had an encounter or know a story you would like shared on the show, please email me at [email protected] Special thanks to Zero-FI for providing the title track "Ominous Path" as seen in the intro.
