John Gonzalez and Joe Jason filled in for the Huge Show on July 2, 2013, and they interviewed Detroit Tigers great Darrell Evans, who played on the World Series championship team in 1984. Joe asked Darrell, who played many years for the Atlanta Braves, about Hank Aaron's milestone 715th home run, breaking Babe Ruth's record. Darrell Evans was on first base that day, April 8, 1974. Darrell Evans will appear at Fifth Third Ballpark on July 5 in Grand Rapids. The first 1,000 fans will get Darrell Evans Bobbleheads.
