Darwin Dean is a community advocate for Save Hiawatha 18. Some citizens want to cut the Hiawatha Golf Course from 18 holes, down to nine due to flooding and environmental issues. However, the Park Board Commissioners voted to keep the Hiawatha Golf Course a full 18 hole course yesterday. Darwin joins Sloane Martin to share why that was the right and just decision, what and why this golf course means so much, to so many, and to honor Soloman Hughes.
