She is the host of Biomedical Frontiers: Stories with Innovators in Healthcare, a life-sciences and medical technology podcast hosted by Wallace H. Coulter Translational Research Foundation at University of Virginia and also organizes an annual medical technologies event in Jacksonville as part of Jax Tech Fest.

In her free time, she manages her farm White Springs Beans and Berries.
